Do you ever feel overwhelmed and just want to throw in the towel and walk away? Do you feel like you have tried your hardest and done all you can do but are not seeing any progress. Well, this is what has been happening with me lately and I had to step back and analyze where I am at in my career, where I am going or want to be going and what might be taken up too much time and how I can better manage my time.

It is completely normal for all of us to go through a period in life where maybe you feel like you took on too much or maybe the opposite and you became so comfortable with things you saw no reason to strive to be better or reach for new goals.

I came to the conclusion that I took on too much and therefore, was unable to give my all to everything. If you do not know, here is a little bit of info. I run a Swingers club, I have my weekly podcast, I have to shoot content for 4 platforms weekly, I have my lifestyle coaching clients, I am the head of PR for The Out Shine Team with clients relying on me to help increase brand awareness. I too have my own brand, my own social media platforms to post daily, and answer messages, plus I guest on others podcasts, I still shoot content for the industry and I also picked up part time work at a friends warehouse.

How does one person give their all to everything and yet if some of these “projects” are not yet paid then it is imperative that income is still earned while pursuing what it is you want to succeed in. I also forgot to mention that my documentary is in editing but I am with the editor when we work on the project so time is dedicated there as well as my 2nd book which I still need to get finished and published. So, how does someone juggle all of this? Well, the answer is not very well and not giving each the attention it deserves.

So next, I asked myself, what do I not really enjoy doing. The podcast, although, not paid I love meeting new guests, sharing their stories and sharing my knowledge nd experiences in hopes I can help someone overcome their challenges along the way.

The Swinger events, although, quite an undertaking to say the least, I enjoy putting these events together for my community that I built since 2012. Coaching and seminars I LOVE LOVE LOVE and can’t give that up as knowing I made a difference in one person’s life is enough to put a smile on my face.

Content and shooting, well, crap I love to perform. I love to create, I do NOT care for editing but that would involve compensating someone to assist me and my financial means do not have that capability at the moment. Now the PR, I do enjoy the challenge of the PR and I do enjoy seeing my clients making progress building their brand, but can I give them 100% when I am stretched in so many different directions.

So, guess what friends and fans, your very own Coralyn Jewel who is always giving advice, guidance and helping others is now asking your advice. How do I keep myself from having mental breakdown and continue on my journey of my mission to break the stigma and misconceptions regarding alternative relationship styles and the adult industry but still keep a roof over my head and food on the table?

It is your turn to give the advice, the guidance, the lecture or whatever it may be that you feel you can offer me. Maybe it is through s comment here, or maybe a personal e mail to CJ@coralynjewel.com. I will listen, I will ponder upon your words, your thoughts, suggestions and ideas. I remain strong on my statement, we all have story to tell and we can all learn from each other’s story. So today, I sit back and I listen to your story, your suggestions, your opinion and I am open to your guidance.

My friends, I ask you to please enlighten me and help me see things clearer.

CJ
